Product Overview:

METALAM‑APA‑UC is Chirag Laminates' premium uncalendered aramid paper / polyesterfilm / uncalendered aramid paper laminate supplied uncalendered to preserve the natural porosity, compressibility and flexibility of the aramid facings. The open‑fibre structure guarantees excellent resin uptake during vacuum‑pressure impregnation (VPI) while the PET core provides mechanical stability. These attributes make METALAM‑APA‑UC the insulation of choice for traction motors, EV drives and dry‑type transformers operating continuously up to 155 °C.
